About
Hi! I'm Candice and I'm so happy you're here! I've always believed in the power of storytelling to teach just about anything, including academic subjects. As a classroom teacher, I could always find books about science and social studies topics, but I couldn't find books that explained math topics or literacy concepts, and only a few about life skills.
After leaving the physical classroom and earning my Masters' degree in Instructional Design, I began writing and publishing the very books I wish I had when I was in the classroom, along with the programs that I designed and used with my own students because I knew they worked! I even created programs to teach sight words and math facts in a way that met my students' needs AND was grounded in research.
Now, my work and my passion is to share these resources with other teachers and with homeschooling parents through my books, correlating resources, and online self-paced classes.
